How to Order
The Raw Shoe site has a fully integrated shopping cart facility that lets
you order as much or as little as you like from the site, in the knowledge that
your personal details will be transmitted safely to our secured server.
Selecting Items
We have provided a number of ways in which to select the items you require,
by Brand, Style, Colour, Size or Name. Once you have found the item you are interested
in, you can view enlarged pictures and see a breakdown of the size availability
currently in stock. We also provide a convenient size conversion chart showing
stock availability across the major size conventions.
Your Shopping Basket
By clicking on the
symbol
in the relevant size column on our Current Stock Position page, you will
then be shown the contents of your shopping basket, which will include one item
of the product in the size requested. You have the ability to retain the item
and continue shopping adding further items to your basket, change the quantity
required, remove the item, delete the entire order or simply take the item to
the Checkout facility. If you have received one of our
discount vouchers, you will also we able to enter the voucher number and obtain
an immediate discount on the price of any goods in the basket.
Checkout
The Checkout process starts at the page entitled Your details. It is
from this point onwards that all data is encrypted, and you will see the padlock
symbol in your browsers tray. Enter your details, together with the address you
would like the goods delivered too. A number of fields are compulsory, and are
marked with an asterisk. Failure to complete a mandatory field or completing a
field with incorrect data will result in a warning message asking you to
re-input the incorrect data. You can delete the order at this point, or continue
to the Delivery options.
Delivery Options
Having provided your delivery address, we can show you the cost of delivery
and any shipping alternatives available. Click on the radio button on the left
to select the service you require. You can delete the order at this point, or
continue to Payment Details.
Check Your Order
This is where all the details about your order are displayed in summary form
for you to check. If any details are incorrect, you can hit the back button on
your browser, and go back to the relevant page, update your information, and hit
the Continue Order button on that page to proceed. Alternatively, you can delete
the order and start again. The Summary of Charges at the bottom of the page
clearly shows how much you will be charged, including all taxes, discounts and
delivery costs. When you select to Continue Order, your order will go
live, all your order details will be placed in our fulfilment system. You will
then proceed to the Receipt Page.
Payment Details
You should select the debit/credit card you wish to use, and complete the
cardholder details. The Billing details are pre-completed with the information
you supplied on the Your Details page. The billing details should be
exactly as they appear on the credit/debit card account. If they are not, this
may lead to a delay or refusal by Raw Shoe in dealing with your order. You can
delete the order at this point, or continue to Check Your Order.
Receipt
You should print out a copy of the receipt page for your records as we are not
currently able to automatically email a copy to you. You will need to be able to
provide proof of purchase if you wish to return the goods via one of our stores.
The Receipt includes all details of your order to Raw Shoe, including the Order
Number, which you should quote in any correspondence with us.
Our Stock Location Procedure
On receipt of your order, we will firstly
locate the item(s) that you have ordered. We hold
stock in both our central warehouse and each of our stores. We would try to
fulfil your order from our warehouse, but this is not always possible. Due to
the nature of our business, stock can be sold quickly, and whilst we attempt to
keep stock availability information on our web site accurate, we may find that
the item you have ordered has subsequently sold out. In addition, all items
undergo a
pre-dispatch check to confirm
that -
This sounds obvious, but
some organisations outsource their warehouse and order
fulfilment to third parties, who simply pick items from shelves, and dispatch
them. We undertake all our own dispatch work, performed by trained
staff who work directly for The Raw Shoe Company Ltd.
If we are unable to meet your order, we will notify you immediately, normally by
email.
Dispatch
Orders will normally be
dispatched two working days from the date of your order. Where your order has to be
fulfilled with stock located at one of our stores, this may take longer. If there
is going to be an extensive delay for any reason, we will contact you, normally via email.

Postal Delivery
Raw Shoe is happy to fulfil orders from International destinations. Raw Shoe
currently charges for postage to all destinations, but no charge is made for
packing/handling.
The delivery charge is dependent upon the weight of the goods ordered and the destination shipping address.
A bespoke delivery price and estimated delivery lead-time will be provided to you as part of our online checkout process. You need to complete your personal and shipping details before this can be provided. Under certain circumstances, you may be offered a choice of delivery service. The delivery lead-time will be based on the dispatch date of your order, and you will be notified by us via email when we have posted your items.
All packages are sent using either Royal Mail or Parcel Force. We do not use any other carriers and cannot undertake requests to ship via other providers/services. We may change the shipping company from that quoted at the time of ordering.
Parcels sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery provide for a signature on delivery and compensation for loss or damage during transit. Please ensure someone is present at the delivery address to sign for the order.
Parcels sent via Royal Mail International Registered provide for a signature on delivery and compensation for loss or damage during transit. You should note that some countries (notably USA and Canada) do not recognise compensation limits associated with the International Registered service and as a result we do not offer this alternative to those destinations.
All International orders are sent using Airmail rather than surface mail.
Late deliveries and non-arrivals should be notified to us here.
Delivery To UK Stores
Unfortunately, Raw Shoe is no longer able to offer you its free delivery option,
whereby your order was dispatched to the Raw Store of your choice, for you to
collect.
